Vintage - antique, wooden fur pelt stretching board with painting of horse - from a New England estate

Vintage or antique muskrat pelt stretcher. Was in a family for at least two generations, was taken out of use, painted (horse painting) and then hung on a wall. The paper note on the back was apparently glued or pinned by one generation then taped more recently.

The board measures 22 inches long and 6 inches high.


If you purchase more than one item we will pack everything together and refund any difference in shipping.

A note about our authentication and correctness of descriptions:
We have exercised reasonable effort to describe each item we sell, correctly and accurately. Unless otherwise noted there is no official authentication of our items, authentication comes with a fee, and will mean additional costs. Most of our items that are certified authentic are done so via consignment sales, usually specialized auction companies. We take as many photos as we can to show details of our items, and do our best to describe any flaws.
We know many of our items from estate clearances are "loved," have been used, and will show signs of wear and or storage.

History:
We are a woman owned business run by several busy women.
We have artists among us. In addition to our estate sales we will be adding artists' work and supplies for crafting.


Estate sales are not the same now with this pandemic, so we are trying this online platform for antiques and vintage items.
Artists and craftswomen also don't have the same venue for selling- thus we will sell some of our friends and co-workers items here.
