Antique 1860's German Meuer Brunnen Clay "Selser Tafel Wasser" Seltzer Table Water Bottle Jug Orange/Tan- From a New England Estate

12 inches tall - 3 1/4 inches wide - color is an orange tan.
Clay bottle used with cork to hold seltzer table water in the 1800s -
ANTIQUE - Made by German company - stamped -Meuer Brunnen Selser "Selser Tafel Wasser" (translate seltzer table water)
See photos for condition. Excellent for it's age!
We added a cut furniture pad to keep it balanced.

These bottles were made with a salt glaze on clay.

Please note we only do a cursory cleaning of these antiques. We leave it up to buyer to paint or clean if desired. We try to leave antiques as they are found and as they have aged.
